Croft Sr. Dies; Services Set Tomorrow The body of Charles Edgar Croft Sr., 54, who died in Shelby, NC, Sunday, after a short illness, is being returned to Brunswick by the Edo Miller and Sons for services to be held tomorrow morning at 11 o'clock at the McKendree Methodist Church. The Rev. W. Raymond Wilder will officiate with interment to be in Brunswick Memorial Park Cemetery. Mr. Croft moved to Shelby about two years ago. He had been employed by the Hercules Powder Co. her for about 23 years. He was a member of the McKendree Methodist Church and active in Scout work while in Brunswick. Survivors are one daughter, Mrs. Lillian Holmes, Brunswick; three sons, Charles E. Croft Jr., Jesup, James M. Croft, Augusta, and Larry Croft, Brunswick; three sisters, Mrs. A. S. Glover, Mrs. C. G. Hiott, and Mrs. Sadie Clarke, all of Brunswick; three brothers, Ralph Croft, Brunswick, Carl Croft, Concord, NC, and C. N. Croft, Tifton; four grandchildren. Pallbearers will be H. M. Manning, Robert L. Porter, K. E. Tyrer, Timmons Knudsen, Charlie Major, and W. C. Siler. The body will be placed in the church at 10 o'clock to await the service.
