The Brunswick News (Brunswick, GA), 15 October 2001
Clyde C. "Paps" Goodwin, 84, of Brunswick died Saturday at St. Vincent's 
Hospital in Jacksonville.

The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Bible Baptist Church with 
the Rev. Mike Landrum officiating. Burial will follow in Chapel Park Cemetery.

Pallbearers are his grandsons.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Edo Miller and 
Sons Funeral Home.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, Glynn 
County Chapter.

Surviving are his wife, Lora Goodwin of Brunswick; four daughters, Marie 
Legowik, Lucy Smith, Ramona Evans and June Hamilton, all of Brunswick; nine 
grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.

Mr. Goodwin, a native of Wilcox County, lived in Brunswick since 1941. He was 
a retired security guard supervisor at Hercules Powder Co. Mr. Goodwin was a 
member of Bible Baptist Church and was a hunter and fisherman.
