HARRISON, 98, DIES; LEAVES 115 SURVIVORS Nelson C. Harrison, 98, one of the oldest residents of Glynn County, died at his residence on the Old Post Road yesterday afternoon after an extended illness. Mr. Harrison had lived in Glynn County practically all his life, although he was born in Wayne County. He was a retired turpentine operator and a member of Jehovah’s Witnesses. He is survived by his wife, Pauline, Bostwick, Fla.; 10 children, 31 grandchildren, 63 great grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren. The surviving children are Ernest C., Charleston, S.C., Mrs. S.R. Harrison, Mrs. H.E. Miley, Mrs. G.A. Campbell, Mrs. Richard Van Kirk, all of Jacksonville; and J.W., I.H., A.C., L.R., of Brunswick; and Miss Paulette Harrison, Bostwick, Fla. Funeral services are incomplete but will probably be held in Jacksonville tomorrow with interment in Evergreen Cemetery, Jacksonville. Edo Miller and sons is in charge of local arrangements.
