The body of a drowned man, with one leg missing, was found on the north end of Long island Saturday. Judge J.D. Gould and a party went to the scene and identified the body as that of Nero Henderson, a well known negro of St. Simon [sic]. The body was found, and the place marked. It is believed that Henderson was drowned in the storm of October 2.
