We are pained to learn of the sad death of our old friend, Judge James 
Houston, of Brunswick.  He was accidentally killed on Monday by the discharge 
of a pistol.  Judge Houston was one of Brunswick’s staunchest and best 
citizens and he will be greatly missed.  The editor of the Gazette deeply 
sympathizes with the family in their affliction.
