KING, AN OLD RESIDENT, DIES HERE TODAY Miss Mary Parland King, eldest daughter of the late Henry C. King, late of San Antonio, Texas, passed away at 6 o’clock this morning at her home on Monk street after a long illness. The deceased is survived by two sisters, Mrs. William Wadsworth King, of this city, and Miss Sophia King, of San Antonio, and one brother, Henry C. King, Jr., of San Antonio. Services will be held at the Presbyterian church at 2:30 o’clock Thursday afternoon, Rev. T.W. Simpson officiating. Interment will be at the Scarlett family cemetery, Oak Grove, near Fancy Bluff. The following will act as pall bearers: Honorary—Robert Scarlett, Dr. J.A. Dunwody, Dr. Burwell Atkinson of Camden county, Frank D. Aiken, C. Don Parker, R.S. Ledsinger, H.C. Russell of Camden, and J.A. Blanton; active, Dr. F.B. Atkinson, F.M. Scarlett, I.M. Aiken, J.F. Atkinson of Waverly, L.S. Robb, B.A. Atkinson, Waverly.
