FORMER RESIDENT DIES IN ATLANTA

Mrs. Russell E. Richards, a former well known Brunswick resident, passed away 
at her home in Atlanta Thursday morning after an illness of several weeks, and 
burial will be here.

Mrs. Richards was born in Brunswick and spent all of her girlhood here, moving 
to Atlanta many years ago after her marriage.  She was the daughter of the 
late Capt. Urbanus and Angie McConn Dart, members of an old and prominent 
Brunswick family.

Survivors include her husband and a son by a former marriage, Dr. William B. 
Armstrong, both of Atlanta.  She has a large number of relatives here.

Funeral services will be conducted in Atlanta at 4:30 o’clock this afternoon 
and the body will be forwarded to Brunswick tonight, arriving tomorrow 
morning.  Burial will be in the family plot at Oak Grove cemetery at 11 
o’clock, commitment services to be conducted by the Rev. Talbert Morgan.  The 
Miller Funeral Home is in charge of local arrangements.  The family requests 
that flowers be omitted.
