A SAILOR DROWNED—A sailor fell from the rigging of the schooner Fiheman [sic] 
at St. Simons Mills Saturday and was drowned.  The sailor was an American from 
New England, named John Ross.  His body has not been recovered.  His head 
struck the side of the vessel and he was knocked insensible before reaching 
the water.
