Little James Parker Tait, eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. J.B. Tait, died Sunday night at 2 o’clock after an illness of several years with spinal trouble. The funeral occurred yesterday afternoon at 3:30 o’clock, Rev. F.D. Thomas officiating. The Presbyterian choir sang the hymns Asleep in Jesus and Safe in the Arms of Jesus very sweetly. The choir was composed of Miss Lucile Butts, Mrs. Mary Stacy, Messrs. R.E. Sherman, T.J. Wright and G.H. Cook. The interment was at Oak Grove cemetery. The parents have the sympathy of hosts of friends in their sorrow.
