DAVID R. TASCIOTTI (Sr.)
DIES IN JACKSONVILLE

David Richard Tasciotti, age 32, resident of 503 Longview, St. Simons Island,
died Thursday in Jacksonville, FLA General Hospital.

Mr. Tasciotti was a lifelong resident of Glynn County, was a member of the St.
Simons United Methodist Church and was a veteran of the Vietnam War having
served in the United States Army.  He was the recipient of Two Bronze Stars.
He is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Guy Tasciotti of St. Simons Island;
Two daughters, Miss Becky Tasciotti, of Brunswick and Miss Kerri Tasciotti of
St. Simons; a son, David R. Tasciotti Jr., of Brunswick; three brothers, Guy
“Sonny” Tasciotti Jr., of Washington D.C., Paul V. Tasciotti of Brunswick and
Thomas C. Tasciotti also of Brunswick, several nieces, nephews and cousin.

Services will be Saturday at noon in the St. Simons United Methodist Church with
Rev. C.C. Edmondson and the Rev. Mike Farmer officiating.

Interment will follow in the Oglethorpe Memorial Gardens on St. Simons.
Active pallbearers will be Joseph Farmer, Farrell Hinson, Ronald Hinson Jr.,
Robert G. Kennison, Peter D. Davis, Paul Tasciotti Jr., and Steven Hinson. 
Honorary pallbearers will be cousins.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home and will be placed in the
church at 11 a.m. Saturday to await the hour of services.
Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
