CHARLES WATKINS JR. DIES TUESDAY

Charles Watkins Jr., 47, of Brunswick died Aug. 26 at Southeast Georgia 
Regional Medical Center.

The funeral will be 3 p.m. Tuesday at Johnson’s Temple First Born Church with 
the Rev. W.L. Johnson officiating.  Burial will follow at Rising Daughter 
Baptist Church Cemetery.

The body will be placed in the church an hour before the service.

Pallbearers will be Paul Lawrence, Cornell Myers, Isaiah Brown Jr., Fred 
Wrice, Willie Harris, Julius Caine and Bernard McCloud.  Honorary pallbearers 
will be friends of the family.

Surviving are six brothers, James Frazier Jr. and Bobby Owens, both of Daytona 
Beach, Fla., Jimmy Hines and Billy Hines, both of Brunswick, Crawford Hines of 
Folkston and Landis Hines of Jacksonville, Fla.; two sisters, Juanita Hines of 
Jacksonville and Shirley Ann Hines of Folkston; and several nieces and nephews.

He was a native of Waverly.  He was employed at Southeast Georgia Regional 
Medical Center for 21 years and was a member of Johnson’s Temple First Born 
Church.

Collins’ Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
