She is the daughter of Adline and Millard Stewart (spelled in the 1900 census as Steward). She was born around 1881 on Saint Simons Island, off the coast of Georgia known as the sea islands. Now the islands are known as the "Golden Isles" of Georgia. Both parents, Adline and Millard were born in Georgia according to the 1900 census. Her siblings were: Edward, Rebecca, Millard Jr. Frances, Maria, Sarah Norris and Chaney. My Great-Grandmother was married twice, once to Henry Morrison and Joe Crawford. She died in 1941 and is buried in the Village Cemetery on Saint Simons Island.
