These listed are my great grandparents and great great grandparents. Thomas 
Henry King was a veteran of the War between the States. He was captured at the 
battle of Spotsylvania Court House, Va., May 12,1864. Spent some time at Point 
Lookout, Md.,(prison for Confederates) then to Elmira, N. Y. After General Lee 
surrendered to Ulysses Grant, April 9, 1865,he was parolled July 1865. Had to 
walk home 300 miles. When he was in battle he couldn't tell where he was 
shooting as the powder was not smokeless. These things and more he told my Dad, 
William P. King (1906-1995) I don't have any ties to WV., and Va., but I do to 
Brunswick, Glynn County, Ga., where is where I would like my records posted.
