I Pascal Nicolau of said State and County aforesaid being weak in body but of sound and perfect mind and memory and thus considering the uncertainty of this mortal life I the said Pascal Nicolau of said state and county aforesaid do make and Publish this my Last will and Testament and "in" manner and form following that is to say. In the first place I do give and leave Free my Negro woman Silvie and my Negro boy Joe for their good strict and faithful attention to me while in my sickness, leaving them under and in the charge of my Executors hereafter named. Secondly all the residue of my Property both real and personal I wish to be disposed of for cash to the best advantage as early as my Executors hereafter named may think proper and after paying all my just debts the balance to be equally divided share and share between my Brother Cadet Nicolau and his children which may be living at the date of this will and my niece Arial Richard all now living in the city of Bordeaux in the Kingdom of France. Thirdly I do leave my worthy Friends Francis M. Scarlett and Peter Massie of said county and state aforesaid my Executors to carry into effect this my last will and testament for the purpose therein named hereby revoking all former wills by me made. Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this second day of June one thousand Eight Hundred and twenty nine.
