NORMAN G. BLACK

	Norman G. Black, age 82, of the White Graves Community passed away 
enroute to Gordon County Hospital Wednesday morning, Dec. 28, at 9 a.m.  Mr. 
Black was born and reared in Gordon County, had spent his entire life here, 
and was a retired farmer.
	Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Bertie Payne and Mrs. Willie 
Stamey, both of Cleveland, Tenn.; three brothers, Clark Black of Carters, 
Colquett Black and B. Black, both of Oakman; 21 grandchildren also survive.
	Funeral services for Mr. Black were conducted Thursday at 2 p.m. from 
the White Graves Baptist Church with the Re. Don Tatum officiating.
	Pallbearers serving were the nephews.
