Internment was in the family cemetery near his home. Mr. Hopper was one of the best known citizens of this section of the state. He was a member of the Methodist church and was prominently connected with many civic and philanthropic movements in this community. He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Clarke, of Cartersville, and Mrs. Wiley Neal, of Ranger, and three sons, T. W. Hopper, of Dalton; Joe Hopper, of Ranger, and Quillian Hopper, of Alabama.
