He was 54. Mr. Long, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. J. C. Long of Gordon County, lived in the county for over 30 years. Survivors are his wife, the former Miss Essie Nicholson; two daughters, Mrs. C. L. Stamp, Elizabeth City, N. C., and Mrs. Paul Lucia, Springfield, Mass.; six grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. E. A. Parker, Adairsville, Mrs. Grady Langston, Calhoun; one brother, Hugh Long, Calhoun; several nieces and Nephews. Mr. Long was a member of the Gilead Baptist Church I Macon. The Rev. J. W. Harwell and the Rev. Vernon Brown officiated at his funeral which was in the chapel of Watson-Wainwright-McCullough Funeral Home in Warner Robins. Interments was in Magnolia Park Cemetery, Warner Robins.
