Mrs. Mary Wright for years a good citizen of Gordon County was born in North
Carolina, Montgomery County, in 1809. died 29 Oct. 1891--aged 82 years, 7 months
and 12 days.  Her husband has been dead about 28 years, died about the age of 50
years and left her in charge of their children which she has spared to raise and
to see them all make a profession of religion and seven of the eight to become
members of the Baptist Church, 6 of the children are living.  She died a member
of the Calhoun Baptist Church, she has been a consistant member for (62) sixty
two years.  She has been much afflicted for 6 years, which she has endured with
great patience and resignation.......
