MR. MURPHUS C. TUCKER

  Mr. Murphus Clarence TUCKER, 71, of Chatsworth,Murray County,GA died Friday, 
August 1, 2003 as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident. He 
was the son of the late Murphus "Branch" and Bertha E. (Griffen) TUCKER and 
was preceded in death by a son, Gregory M. TUCKER, in November 2002. Survivors 
include daughters and sons-in-law, Cheryl and Eugene Gentry of Tunnel Hill,GA 
and Darlene and Dean Turner of Rocky Face,GA; sons and daughters-in-law, Doug 
and Alison TUCKER of Dalton,GA and David TUCKER and Sue Sutton of 
LaFayette,GA; a daughter-in-law, Tammy TUCKER of Cohutta,GA; grandchildren, 
Sandra and Steven Turner, Jennifer and Jeremy Gentry, Lauren and Lexi TUCKER, 
Haylay TUCKER and Matthew TUCKER; mother of his children, Velma Summey of 
Rocky Face,GA; nieces and nephews. Funeral was Sunday, August 3, 2003 at 5 
p.m. in the chapel of Peeples Funeral Home, with the Rev. Jimmie Timms 
officiating. Interment was in Casey Springs Cemetery. Peeples Funeral Home of 
Chatsworth was in charge of funeral arrangements. This announcement is made as 
a courtesy of Max Brannon & Sons Funeral Home of Calhoun.
