Calhoun Times, Thursday, February 25, 1937
Mrs. D.W. White passed away at her home near Sugar Valley on Wednesday morning 
after a brief illness.  Mrs. White is survived by her husband and the 
following children: Mrs. Darnell Keys, of Calhoun; E.W. White, Felton White 
and Miss Leone White, all of Sugar Valley.  She is also survived by five 
sisters: Mrs. J.M. Kay, of LaFayette, Ga.; Mrs. M.A. Acree, of Calhoun; Mrs. 
Sallie Lee, of Chicago, Ill; Mrs. C.C. Carroll, of Atlanta; and Mrs. J.T. 
Coley, of Fairburn, Ga.  Funeral Services will be held from Sugar Valley 
Baptist Church at 11 o'clock Friday morning.  E.L. Jackson & Son are in charge 
of arrangements.

Additional Comments:
Mrs. Dock William White (Bertie Hudgins White) was born and lived her entire 
life in Gordon County, Georgia.  She was the daughter of Elijah Webb Hudgins 
and Sarah Avaline "Sallie" Jones.
