She was a postmaster of Fairmount. She was a member of the First Baptist Church and a charter member of the Order of Eastern Star and a first worthy matron. Survivors include one son, Carlton of Fairmount; one daughter, Mrs. R. B. McKay of New York; one brother, Herman Dorrah of Chatsworth; one sister, Mrs. Herman B. Banks of Fairmount and five grandchildren. Funeral services will be held today at 3 P.m. at the Fairmount Methodist Church with the Revs. Hubert Outlaw and Paul Hannah officiating. Interment will be in the Johnson Cemetery. Pallbearers are Max Johnson, Hugh Gaddis, L.A. Dean, Bill Wehut, Elton Neal, Bobby Willis. The body will remain in the funeral home and be moved to the church to lie in state at 2 p.m. until the funeral hour. Thomas Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. (Note: Died Apr. 26)
