State of Georgia Gordon County

To any minister of the Gospel Judge of Superior Court Justice of Inferior 
Court or Justice of the Peace to celebrate. You are hereby authorized and 
permitted to join in the Honorable State of matrimony James P. Tucker and wife 
Emma E.L. Maulden according to the rules of your church. Provided these be no 
lawful cause to abstract the same according to the Constitution and laws of 
this state and for so doing this shall be your Sufficient License.
Given under my hand and seal this 15th day of September 1866. D.W. Keel

I hereby certify that James P. Tucker and wife Emma E.L. Maulden were joined 
together in the Holy bons of matrimony on the 16th day of September 1866 by me.

James K. Polk Tucker was born 1847 in Murray County,GA to Churchwell Branch 
Tucker and Rosamond Maude McKiney. James was the youngest of eight children.
