Will of Nicholas Moss 10 Jan 1873 Gordon County, GA Gordon Co., GA WB A:115-117 Nicholas Moss 10 Jan 1873/12 Apr 1884 Hiram Moss, Executor of Nicholas Moss. In the name of God amen. I Nicholas Moss of the County of Gordon and State of Georgia being of sound and disposing mind and memory and being desirous to settle my worldly affairs While I have strength so to do make and publish this my last Will and Testament hereby revoking all wills by me at any time heretofore made and first I commit my soul to God who gave it and my body I desire to be buried in the family burial ground at Bathusdy Church Gordon County Georgia and my worldly estate I dispose of as follows 1st I desire my Executor here and after appointed to sell and collect all Just debts that I owe or are coming to my estate. 2nd I give and bequeath to my beloved wife Her individual support during her widowhood off of my home place Knowing as half lots (117) and (137) in the 7 District and (3) Sector Gordon County 3th I give and bequest to my son Mattison and my daughter Annie their support off of my home place known as Two half lots No (117) and (137) during their natural lives 4th I give and bequeath to my sons and daughters Elizabeth Nesbitt Wife of W. A. Nesbitt deceased Fannie Moss Wife of Gilly Moss deceased Harriett Dodson Wife of George Dodson and Hiram Moss their equal shares of my home place known as half lot (117) and half lot No (137) in the seventh district and third section Gordon County, after the death of my son Mattison and daughter Annie then my Homeplace to be sold and divided equally between Elizabeth Nesbitt, Fannie Moss, Harriett Dodson and Hiram Moss. 5th I give and bequeath to my daughter in Law Sarah Moss Wife of Johnson Moss deceased One Dollar here and their heirs forever. 6th I give and bequeath to the heirs of Nicholas Moss and Adeline Moss Wife of Nicholas Moss both now deceased one Dollar for ever. I do make and appoint Hiram Moss my Executor of this my last Will and Testament In Witness whereof I the said Nicholas Moss to this my Will consisting of the foregoing sheet of paper now set my hand and seal this the 10th day of January 1873.
