September Conference Total in fellowship 17 Sep. 1849 Quarterly Meeting Met in Conference on Saturday before the fourth Lords day in September 1849. 1st Opened a door for reception of members and Received Sister Edith White by Experience and Baptism. 2nd Call'd for correspondents from Sister Churches and received from Rich Land Creek Church brother Thos. Hester and from Tired Creek Church brethren Jonathan Miller and James M Handby. 3rd Invited brethren to seats with us. 4th Called for the Association letter which was read and approved. 5th Read the Covenant. Confession of Faith and Decorum. 6th Made up the amount agreed upon in last conference to send to the Association funds sufficient for Church purposes. Adjourned. Prior Lewis, Mod. Oct. No Conference in October in consequince of 1849 the Association. Nov. 1849 Conference in November was omitted in consequence of bad weather. Quarterly Meeting Dec. 1860 Met in conference on Saturday before the fourth Sunday in December 1860. 1st Invited visiting brethren to seats with us. 2d Opened a door for reception of members. 3d Called for correspondence from Sister Churches and received from Tired Creek bro J. B. Davis. 4th Received a petitionary letter from our Sister Church Magnolia requesting the service of our beloved brother Prior Lewis as Pastor for the ensuing year which is cheerfully granted on the part of the Church. 5th Read the Covenant and Decorum. Cl. Note: This is the last evidence I find for Edward White. He apparently died circa June 1862 rather than 1861 which is shown in the Tombstone Inscriptions of Grady Co. Ga.
