Y. Bryan had as her guests, Mr. and Mrs. J. O. McElvey and three sons, of Pelham. Two of these boys have been serving their country for some time, Mr. O. A. McElvey who is in the flying squadron in Austin, Texas and Mr. O. B. McElvey, located at Camp Johnson, Jacksonville, Fla. The other young man, Dr. J. M. McElvey has recently enlisted in the naval reserve medical corps, at Charleston, S. C., and is awaiting his call. Mrs. McElvey has another son, also who is in the navy, Mr. C. N. McElvey, of Newport, R. I. If she can be loyal and patriotic enough to see her four sons go out to fight for democracy and our freedom surely we can lend the government a few dollars and back these men up and more speedily bring all of our boys home again. Mrs. McElvey is the sister of Mrs. W. Y. Bryan of Cairo. This file has been created by a form at http://www.genrecords.org/gafiles/ File size: 1.4 Kb
