White was wounded about the first of this month and his name appeared in the casualty list last Tuesday as being wounded to a degree undetermined. He will be 21 years of age some time in October. He enlisted in the infantry of the U. S. Army in October 1916 and was among the first to go over to France. His father is Mr. Marcel White, residing about 12 miles North-East of town. He has several brothers and sisters. The Messenger joins his many relatives and friends in hoping for his early recovery. We are in receipt of a letter from him, mailed several weeks ago to his sister, but owing to the crowded condition of this week's issue we are compelled to leave it out. Same will appear in next week's Messenger. This file has been created by a form at http://www.genrecords.org/gafiles/ File size: 1.4 Kb
