L. Bryant, who resides below town, received a telegram from the War Department at Washington, yesterday, stating that his son, Lawson Bryant had been seriously wounded in France. The telegram stated that he was wounded on Nov. 11th, the day the armistice with Germany was signed. The young man had been in France for several months and was a selectman from this county. Mr. Bryant has been worried for the past few weeks over the fact that he had not received a letter from his son in some time and the message he received yesterday accounts for the delay.
