J. Mills of Whigham celebrated the eighty-fifth anniversary of his birthday Sunday when his daughter, Mrs. Aileen Alexander honored him with a family reunion at her home in Whigham. The dining table was decorated with a beautiful two-tiered birthday cake holding eighty-five candles. A picnic dinner was enjoyed. His three daughters, Mrs. Alexander, Mrs. Susie Wells and Mrs. Annie Ruth Elliott, of Tampa, Fla., and one son, T. J. Mills, Jr., of Miami, Fla., were present; another son, J. L. Mills of Chattanooga, Tenn. was unable to attend. Judge Mills has sixteen grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
