The submitter has given permission to the USGenWeb Archives to store the file permanently for FREE access. ************************************************************************************************************** The Cairo Messenger, October 9, 1964 Mr. Allison Kneel Dekle, 85, died at 10 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 4, at the Isles of Rest Nursing Home in Monticello, Fla., following a long illness, and funeral services were held at the Long Branch Baptist Baptist Church on Tuesday, Oct. 6, with the Rev. Edgar Lowe officiating. Interment followed in teh Long Branch Cemetery. Mr. Dekle was born on April 7, 1879 in this county, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Allison Dekle. He was a retired carpenter and a member of the Long Branch Baptist Church. Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. C. D. Trammell, Tallahasse, Fla., one son, W. H. Dekle, Tallahassee; four brothers, Clifford, Bush, H. D. and J. P. Dekle, all of Pelham; one sister, Mrs. Cora Wells, Cairo; four grandchildren; Ronald Charles and David O'Neal Trammell, both of Tallahassee, Fla,; Mrs. Virginia Holland, California, and Franklin Trammell, Jacksonville, Fla., and 9 great-grandchildren. Arrangements were in charge of Clark Funeral Home.
