Harrell Services Held At Piedmont Church Funeral services for Mr. Elton Raymond Harrell, 85, were held at the Piedmont Primitive Baptist Church on Oct. 27 at 3 p.m. with Elder Ted Folmar officiation. Burial followed in the Piedmont Cemetery with Roscoe, J. D. Audrey, Alvie, Ed and Jimmy Harrell as active pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers were the deacons of the Piedmont Primitive Baptist Church. Mr. Harrell died at his home on Friday, October 25. Mr. Harrell was born July 8, 1878 in Decatur County, son of John Oscar and Mary Sellars Harrell. He had lived all his life in this area, and was a retired lumberman. He was a member of the Piedmont Primitive Baptist Church. Survivors include three sons, Donald Harrell, Cairo, Ford Harrell Thomasville, and Franklin Harrell of Valdosta; three daughters, Mrs. Frank Veale, Sr. of Thomasville, Mrs. John C. Stewart of Albany, and Mrs. Lucille Johnson of St. Augustine, Fla.; 16 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Arragements were in charge of Clark Funeral Home.
