At Mt. Pleasant Funeral services for Harmon Lee Glover, 68, who passed away at Archbold Memorial Hospital on December 12 following an illness of 10 days, were held Tuesday, Dec. 14, at the Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church with Rev. W. G. Turner officiating. Interment followed in the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery with Clark Funeral Home in charge. Active pallbearers were T. L. Glover, John Glover, Archie Taylor, Levy Harrell, Bill Horn, and Carlton Glover. Honorary pallbearers were Bill Majors, J. P. Maddox, Hopson Harrell, and Hubert Maddox. Born in Decatur County in July 1897, the son of the late Zack and Julie Lashley Glover, he married the former Mary Elizabeth Smith in April of 1933. A machinist, Glover had lived in this county since 1935. Survivors include his widow; two sons, Hewlett Glover, Leesburg, Fla., Jack Glover, Texas City, Texas; two daughters, Mrs. Doris Kiler, Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., Mrs. Caroline Valow, Houston, Texas; one step-daughter, Mrs. Libby Flanders, Camilla, Ga., one sister, Mrs. Nancy Harrell, Vada, Ga. and nine grandchildren.
