Logue, Sr., 77, lifetime resident of this area and a retired farmer passed away on Thursday, March 25, at Grady General Hospital after an extended illness. Funeral services were conducted on Saturday, March 27, at 3 o'clock in the Magnolia Baptist Church, with the Rev. J. T. Lambert, Floyd Childs, and Bill Bozeman officiating. Interment followed in Magnolia Cemetery. Mr. Logue was born in Decatur County, Ga., in 1887, son of the late Fed and Ann Gainous Logue. He was married in 1911 to the former Miss Lena Evenal Logue, who survives him in death. Pallbearers for the funeral were Herschel Logue, Dewey Logue, Alton Logue, Dell Logue, Arthur Logue, and Albert Griner. Honorary pallbearers were Lester Moore, Paul Stuckey, Clint Miller, Tommy Miller, James Thomas, Onnie Rackley, Herbert Logue, Albert Collins, Harvey Harrison, J. S. Stuckey, St. Elmo Harrison, Emory Moore, Carlton Harrison, Turner Harrell, G. B. Trulock, Luther Harden, Howard Edwards, Eugene Moore, Aaron Logue and H. G. Baggett, Jr. Survivors include his wife of Whigham; three sons, H. L. Logue, Jr. of Sacramento, Calif., Julian Logue, Albany, Ga., and Douglas Logue, Anchorage, Alaska; four daughters, Mrs. Rena Jones, St. Cloud, Fla., Mrs. Inez Horton, Charleston, S. C., Mrs. Virginia Gainous, Cocoa, Fla., and Mrs. Darsey Jones, Whigham; one sister, Mrs. Jim Dean, Mt. Dora, Fla.; 7 grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
