The submitter has given permission to the USGenWeb Archives to store the file permanently for FREE access. ************************************************************************************************************** The Cairo Messenger, February 10, 1961: John Morgan Glover Dies in Camilla, Services Feb. 2 Mr. John Morgan Glover, 84, died at the Mitchell County Hospital on Feb. 1, and funeral services were held at the Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church on Feb. 2 at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Ira Crump officiating. Interment followed in the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. Active pallbearers were Josh Pollock, W. D. Harrell, Norman Glover, E. M. Glover, G. D. Harrell and Elzy Williams. Mr. Glover was born in Decatur County on September 5, 1876. He was a farmer and a member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Eliza H. Harrell Glover of Pelham; three sons, Lofton Glover of Pelham, Bill Glover of Leesburg, Fla., and Edison Glover of Jacksonville, Fla.; one daughter, Mrs. J. D. Williams, Los Angeles, Calif.; two brothers, C. C. Glover, Pelham, and E. L. Glover of Tallahassee, Fla.; four sisters, Mrs. Ivey Horn, Vada, Mrs. T. J. Gaddis, Attapulgus, Mrs. Nat Atkins, Attapulgus, and Mrs. Tom Porter of Columbus.
