A native of Georgia, she had lived in Highland City for 25 years, moving there from Bainbridge. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Highland City. Mrs. Parker is survived by five sons, Raymond, Wayne, and Lester, all of Highland City, Eugene of Marathon, and Jack Parker of Trumann, Ark.; a daughter, Mrs. C. W. Coker of Highland City; three stepsons, Johnnie Parker of Houston, Tex., Alton Parker of Orlando and Melvin Parker of Bainbridge; three stepdaughters, Mrs. Hiram Prevatte of Eaton Park, Mrs. Mattie Lee Flannery of Landsowne, Pa. and Miss Irene Parker of Lakeland; three brothers, D. W. Prevatte of Winter Haven, Hiram Prevatte of Eaton Park and Paul Prevatte of Lakeland; six sisters, Mrs. George Duncan of Whigham, Mrs. John Hudson of Cairo, Mrs. Tom Maxwell of Hialeah, Mrs. Clarence Harrell of Climax, Mrs. L. A. Washington of Plant City and Mrs. K. T. Jones of Lakeland; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Services were held Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock at First Baptist Church in Highland City. Burial was at Oak Hill Burial Park.
