In Memory of Our Departed Brother, Monroe Barton

Brother Barton was born April 21, 1881.  While in young manhood, he was married 
to Miss Addie Ferrell, who preceded him to the Great Beyond about 8 months.

Bro. Barton united with the church in August 1910 and lived a true Christian 
life.  He was a devoted husband, a loving and a faithful father, and a true and 
devoted member of his church.

After an illness of several months, Brother Barton gave up his earthly abode to 
go to his Heavenly home.  He was called up on high and on August 6th, 1919, he 
answered the call.

Therefore, be it resolved,
First, That in the going away of Brother Barton, we, the church of Pine Level, 
have lost one of our most faithful and devoted members.

Second, We should resolve to be submissive to God's Holy Will.

Third, We extend to his bereaved mother and little orphan children our sincere 
sympathy and may God's blessings rest on them.

Fourth, That a copy of these resolutions be sent the bereaved family and also a 
copy furnished the county paper for publication.
