A. Mills Passes After A Long Illness Mr. A. A. Mills, 68 years of age, passed away at his home at 2 o'clock last Monday morning following an illness of about a year. He had enjoyed comparatively good health until then. Cancer was the fatal disease. Mr. Mills spent most of his life in Grady County and was regarded as an upright citizen. He was married to Miss Mary Elizabeth Taylor 54 years ago. To them five children were born. He again married 6 years ago to Mrs. Lula Owens. Funeral and interment were at the Cairo Cemetery at 5 o'clock Monday afternoon, whith Rev. H. G. Shearhouse, of Whigham, officiating. Six grandsons acted as pallbearers. Surviving are his widow; four children: Mrs. J. F. Chapman, Barwick; Mrs. J. W. Wilson, Opelika, Ala.; Mrs. S. W. Gainous, Cairo; and Mr. A. T. Mills of Fowlstown. Twenty grandchildren and two great grandchildren also survive.
