L. Gainous, Beloved Lady, Dies Following Stroke Mrs. L. L. Gainous, a beloved resident of Grady County, passed away at her home nine miles northeast of Cairo Friday, June 14th, at 1:55 in the morning. Her passing brought much sorrow to many hearts. Paralysis was the cause of her death. She was a true and loyal mother and was loved by all who knew her. Before her marriage she was Miss Angie Logue. She was a faithful member of the Methodist Church. Her life was such that it carried a good influence with it in the home and community. The funeral services were held in Spring Hill Church on Friday afternoon at 4:00 o'clock. Her pastor, Rev. Lastinger, conducted the funeral services. The remains were laid to rest in the cemetery there. She leaves to mourn her death two sisters, six children and a host of other relatives and friends
