Sadler is a Victim of Paralysis Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Sadler, 80 years of age, was claimed by death at 4:30 o'clock, last Tuesday morning, a victim of paralysis. She had enjoyed comparatively good health until she was stricken and was seriously ill only about two weeks. Her death occured at her home in the Spence community of Grady County, northeast of Cairo. She was born 80 years ago in what is now Grady County and spent her entire life in this section. Hers was a life of much usefulness and she endeared herself to many people during her earthly sojourn. She was a devoted member of the Pine Forest Missionary Baptist Church. Funeral and interment were at Pine Forest at 2:30 o'clock Wednesday afternnon, in charge of Rev. J. T. Barnett and Oliver Funeral Home. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. D. L. Wade, Meigs, and Mrs. R. W. Taylor, Thomasville; and eight sons, L. S. Sadler, Manatee, Fla., Herbert Sadler, Tallahassee, W. R. Sadler, Round Lake, Fla., Grady Sadler, Avon Park, Fla., and A. D., J. J., L. E., and O. F. Sadler, all of Grady County. A number of other relatives also survive. All of her children were present for the last rites.
