Sellers (Bessie Logue) 59 Mrs. Walter I. Sellers passed away at her home on Route 2, Cairo at 5 a.m. Friday, March 31, following an illness of about two weeks. The funeral service was held at Capel Baptist Church at 3 o'clock Saturday afternoon with the Rev. A. B. Thomas officiating. Interment was in the Capel cemetery. The following served as pallbearers: Douglas Logue, Afton Logue, Carlton Logue, Frank Sellers and Clarence Sellers. The deceased was born in Decatur County on August 22, 1890, the daughter of the late Frederick and Ann Gainous Logue. She was the former Miss Bessie Logue. Her home had been in this county for fifty years. Mrs. Sellers was a member of the Capel Missionary Baptist Church and was faithful to its organizations. Her virtues shone brightest in her home. Survivors include her husband, Walter I. Sellers; three sons, William, George, and Elton Sellers, all of Cairo; five daughters, Mrs. Vera Johnson, Mrs. Audrey Pearce, Mrs. Doris Stewart, Miss Dessie Sellers, and Miss Naomi Sellers, all of Cairo; five brothers, Ben Logue, Moultrie; Ira Logue, Climax; Harvey Logue, Whigham; and Marvin Logue, Thomasville; two sisters, Mrs. Clemmie Griffin, Climax, and Mrs. Minnie Dean, Mt. Dora, Fla.; and eight grandchildren. Arrangements by Forsyth-Bearden Funeral Home.
