The Passing Away of Mrs. E. L. Griner
Mrs. E. L. Griner died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. E. Posey, in Cairo 
last Friday morning at 7 o'clock.   Her disease was that of cancer of the 
stomach, and while everything that loving hands could do was done, she passed 
peacefully away after three weeks suffering.  Mrs. Griner was the wife of Mr. 
E. L. Griner, who resides eight miles north of Cairo.  A loving husband, three 
daughters and two sons survive her.  The funeral services were conducted by 
Rev. J. P. Swann at Pleasant Grove church and the body laid to rest at 1:30 
o'clock, Saturday afternoon.

Mrs. Griner was 61 years of age and a member of the Baptist church.
