Albert Sasser died at her residence, about three miles south-west of Cairo, at about 8 o'clock, last Sunday morning, and was buried in the Godwin cemetery, at 10 a.m. Monday; the funeral services being conducted by Rev. Walter C. Jones, assisted by Rev. J. B. Wight. She had been more or less ill for some weeks; but her case did not take a serious turn until a short time before her death. Mrs. Sasser was an excellent woman, a consistent member of the Methodist church, a faithful wife, a devoted mother, and industrious house wife, a good neighbor, and many people will miss her sadly now that she is gone. She leaves a husband, two sons and four daughters (we are informed all grown) and a number of grand children, besides numerous other relatives and a large group of friends, to mourn her decease.
