Sapp, had died. Mrs. Sapp had been sick only a short while and no one thought that the end was so near. She was a good woman and a consistent member of the Baptist church. The funeral services were held at the Methodist church last Tuesday morning at 11 o'clock. Rev. D. H. Parker, of Boston, preached the funeral services, assisted by Revs. Ragsdale and Wright. She was 53 years and leaves, besides her husband, two sisters, Mrs. Kate Johnson and Miss Lizzie Poulk; three brothers, Messrs. J. L., H. J., and M. M. Poulk, and seven step-children, to mourn her going. The Messenger extends condolence to the bereaved family.
