"Whigham News Items"

  The death of Mrs. Cuy Harrell last Thursday morning was the greatest shock 
the community has had in some time, and sadder still to all who knew this 
woman.  She was sick only a short time.  Making it doubly sad, her little baby 
died and was buried in the arms of its mother, leaving three other children to 
be cared for by the husband and father.  She was a lovable woman and devoted 
wife; a good Christian person and God felt the need of her in a higher and 
holier place.  Therefore, let us not mourn for her too much, but lean on 
Christ, to heal the wound and trust to meet her in her higher home.
