A Sad Death
The death of Mrs. T. P. West, 5 miles southeast of Cairo, occurred at her home 
at 7 o'clock Friday morning after an illness of five weeks.  The cause of her 
death was due to Bright's disease of which she had been a sufferer for many 
years.

She was 69 years of age and leaves besides her husband, four sons and one 
daughter to mourn her loss.  She was a consistent member of Magnolia Baptist 
church.  Her remains were laid to rest at Long Branch Saturday noon, Rev. W. C. 
Jones performing the burial services.
