Mr. Jones had been sick three weeks or at least confined to his bed for that length of time with heart trouble which was the cause of his death. Mr. Jones was in the prime of life, being 54 years of age at the time of his death. He was a member of the Baptist church and leaves besides a mother, who lives in Decatur County, a wife and three sons, Messrs. R. H., H. L and J. B. Jones all of Grady, also one brother who lives near Climax. The burial was held at Pisgah Church and the funeral services were conducted by Rev. D. M. Moneyham.
