Williams died at his home in south Cairo, on last Sunday afternoon at 4 o'clock. He has been a sufferer with that dreaded malady, dropsy, for some months past, throughout which he has endured with remarkable patience his affliction. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. B. F. Williams who lives about 1 mile out of town. He was 34 years of age and was a consistent member of the Baptist church. He is survived by his wife and five children, his parents and several brothers and sisters. The funeral was conducted at the Cairo cemetery by Rev. W. C. Jones and Rev. W. L. Wright. Those who acted as pallbearers were: Messrs. E. G. Harrell, W. C. Barrow, C. E. Mauldin, F. B. Walsh, C. N. Muggridge and J. F. Massey.
