J. Donaldson, died at their home six miles east of Cairo. She had been a great sufferer for a year and for the past three weeks, critically ill. At the time of her death she had entered her 80th year of her age being 79 on the 4th of October last. She had for years been a consistent and devout member of the Bold Spring Methodist church and ever lived the life of a Christian woman. The funeral was held at Bold Spring church last Wednesday morning at 11 o'clock and was conducted by Presiding Elder J. M. Outler, of Thomasville, assisted by Rev. R. F. Owen of Ochlocknee. The burial in the Bold Spring cemetery followed afterwards, surrounded by a large number of mourning relatives and friends. To the aged husband, the prayers and sympathies of a large circle of friends go out. Especially at his age, to be left alone, seems a terrible affliction, and that Great Healer, who ever tempers the wind to the shorn lamb, will heal the bruised heart and make sweet the bitter of the cup which seems to overflow for this good old gentleman.
