A Sad Death
Mr. T. J. Threlkeld, one of Grady's most prominent citizens passed away at his 
home nine miles northeast of Cairo, last Friday, June 5th.  Mr. Threlkeld had 
only been sick for a few days with fever, and his death came as a surprise to 
his many relatives and friends throughout the county.  He was about 66 years of 
age and was a member of the Pine Forest Baptist church.  The remains were laid 
to rest Saturday afternoon at three o'clock in the Pine Forest cemetery, Rev. 
J. P. Swann preaching the funeral services.  He leaves a wife and ten children, 
besides many relatives and friends to mourn his loss.
