S. Harrison Passes Away In Coolidge The body of Mr. W. S. Harrison, who died at 12:30 o'clock Thursday morning at the home of his son in Coolidge, was brought to this city on the ten o'clock train and was taken out to the home of Mr. B. R. Harrison, brother of the deceased, where it remained until three o'clock, when the funeral services were held. Dr. B. D. Ragsdale of the Baptist church conducted the services. Interment followed in the family burying grounds near the Harrison home. Mr. Harrison, familiarly called "Uncle Bill," was one of Cairo's pioneer citizens, having spent the greater part of his life in and around this city. About three years ago he and his son moved to Coolidge where they engaged in business, and where they have since made their home. Uncle Bill has for the past several years been in very poor health, which for two years has been rapidly declining. He was a prominent business man of this county for many years and still had large interest in this section at the time of his death. His many friends and business associates will be grieved to hear of his death. Mr. Harrison was about 70 years of age and is survived by one son, Mr. Boykin Harrison, of Coolidge.
