G. Baggett, quietly passed from this to a more sublime sphere on Thursday morning about 7:30 o'clock, after a lingering illness of about five weeks with typhoid fever. Wayne had gone to Miccosukee, Fla., to visit his sister, Mrs. H. B. Strickland and contracted the fever after being there for more than a month. His mother was summoned and after about a week it was deemed best to bring him home. For a few days he showed signs of improvement, but for the past three weeks his recovery has been dispaired of. Dr. L. G. Baggett of Atlanta, brother of the deceased, has been a constant watcher at the little sufferer's bedside for the past two weeks. In the death of this bright promising little lad, the entire community is moved with sympathy for the sorrowing family. The funeral services will be held Friday morning at 11 o'clock at the family residence and will be conducted by Rev. W. L. Wright of the Methodist church. Interment will take place at the Baggett family burial grounds one mile south of town. This file has been created by a form at http://www.genrecords.org/gafiles/ File size: 1.7 Kb
